2025–26 UC Irvine Anteaters women's basketball
The UC Irvine Anteaters women's basketball team represents the University of California, Irvine in the 2025–26 NCAA Division I season, competing in the Big West Conference. They play their home games at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
Head coach Tamara Inoue is in her 10th season, with associate head coach Cecilia Russell-Nava (10th season) and assistants Tyler Ellis (7th season), Derek Wynn (4th season), and Lauren Saiki (1st season).
The team are the Great Alaska Shootout champions this season. In the 2024–25 season they finished 21–10 overall and 15–5 in the Big West, losing the conference final to UC Davis 56–63 and missing the postseason because Hawai'i earned the WNIT bid.
So far this season, the Anteaters stand at 17–4 overall with an 8–2 record in the Big West. The Big West preseason polls released in October 2025 had UC Irvine predicted to finish second in the conference for the third straight year. Roster updates were posted on October 16, 2025.
