The 2024 Besta deild karla was the 113th season of Iceland’s top-tier football and the third since the league was renamed. The season ran from 6 April to 27 October 2024.

- Relegated: Fylkir and HK
- Defending champions: Víkingur Reykjavík (they won the previous season)
- Promoted teams: ÍA (2023 1. deild karla champions) and Vestri (promoted via playoff); they replaced ÍBV and Keflavík
