The 2022 Veikkausliiga was Finland’s top-flight football season, running from 2 April to 30 November 2022. HJK won the championship, their third straight title. HIFK finished last and were relegated to Ykkönen. VPS returned to the Veikkausliiga after promotion, replacing KTP who were relegated after the 2021 season.

In European competition, HJK earned a place in the Champions League qualifiers, while KuPS qualified for the Conference League.

The league included 74 matches with 207 goals scored (about 2.8 per game). The top scorer was Lee Erwin with 20 goals.
