The 1968 Dixie 250 was a NASCAR Grand National Series race held on May 3, 1968, at Augusta Speedway in Augusta, Georgia. It was the 13th race of the 1968 season.

The race took place on a half-mile paved oval, covering 300 laps for a total distance of 125 miles. Weather was warm (about 85°F) with a 14 mph wind, and the average speed was 73.099 mph.

Bobby Isaac won the race from the pole position, driving car No. 71 and leading the most laps. He finished ahead of Buddy Baker by more than a lap. Frog Fagan was the only non-American in the race. About 4,500 people attended, and the event lasted 1 hour, 42 minutes, and 36 seconds.

The total purse was $6,260, with the winner receiving $1,100. Bob Cooper finished 22nd and earned $100.

This race did not have U.S. television coverage. David Pearson, who would win the season championship that year, did not race in this event. Crew chiefs included Ray Hicks, Frankie Scott, Dale Inman, and Harry Hyde.
