1928 Iowa State Cyclones football team
The 1928 Iowa State Cyclones football team represented Iowa State College of Agricultural and Mechanic Arts (now Iowa State University) in the Big Six Conference during the 1928 season. In their third year under head coach C. Noel Workman, they went 2–5–1 overall and 2–2–1 in the conference, finishing fourth in the Big Six. They were outscored 67 to 39 by opponents. Home games were played at State Field in Ames, Iowa. Team captain was Harry Lindblom. Paul Trauger was a first-team all-conference selection.
