Tinkers Alley (Kazandžijsko sokače) is an old street in Niš, Serbia. Built in the first half of the 18th century, it was a place for tinkers and other crafts, with craftsmen’s houses from the Turkish period. Today, only part of those houses remains and is protected as a historic building complex. The alley is protected by the state for its great architectural value. Now the street is full of cafés and restaurants. Tinkers Alley is in Niš and faces Kalča, a 32,000-square-meter shopping center.
