Sioux City Community School District (SCCSD) is a public school district based in Sioux City, Iowa. Most of the district sits in Woodbury County, with a smaller part in Plymouth County. It serves students from preschool through 12th grade. The motto is “Believe. Achieve. Succeed.” The district is led by Superintendent Rod Earleywine and operates 20 schools. There are about 14,989 students (2022–23), around 972 teachers and 949 staff, for a student-teacher ratio of about 15.4 to 1. The budget was about $210.5 million in 2020–21. In 2025, the board approved sending about $79,628 of unpaid school lunch debt to a collection agency.
