Itaocara is a municipality in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. It covers about 428 square kilometers and sits around 60 meters above sea level. As of 2020, about 23,222 people lived there. Itaocara is located in the Southeast region of Brazil. The mayor is Geyves Maia Vieira (Cidadania).
