Geofrey Kusuro

Geofrey Kusuro (born 12 February 1989 in Mutishet, Uganda) is a Ugandan long-distance runner. He competed in the 5000 metres at the 2008 Beijing Olympics but did not reach the final. In the 2012 London Olympics, he finished 37th in Round 1 and did not qualify for the final. Kusuro also represented Uganda at the 2009 and 2011 World Championships. He won the 2009 World Mountain Running Championships, becoming the first Ugandan to win the title. In 2023, he won the Madrid Marathon with a time of 2:10:29.
