Federico Agliardi
Federico Agliardi, born 11 February 1983 in Brescia, is a retired Italian football goalkeeper. He came through the Brescia Calcio youth system and began his professional career with Cosenza in Serie B during the 2002–03 season. He made his Serie A debut with Brescia on 8 November 2003 in a match against Bologna.
In January 2006 he moved to Palermo in a swap deal and soon became a regular, though he later faced strong competition for the starting spot. After a loan spell at Rimini in 2008–09 and a transfer to Padova in 2009, Agliardi joined Bologna in 2011. There he started as a backup and, after Jean-François Gillet left in 2012, he had a spell as first-choice before returning to a backup role.
In January 2014 he was loaned to Cesena, and in June 2014 he joined Cesena on a permanent basis, staying with the club through 2018. He then played for Cesena again from 2018 to 2020 and finished his career with Lumezzane in 2020–2021. Across his club career, Agliardi made 266 league appearances and scored no goals.
Internationally, he represented Italy at the U16, U17, U19 and U21 levels and was part of the Italy U21 squad that won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship in 2004.
