Fajr International Music Festival
Fajr International Music Festival is Iran's premier music festival. It started in 1986 in Tehran and is linked with UNESCO. The event features national and international competitions, with artists from Austria, Germany, France and many Asian countries. The 22nd edition was held in January 2007. Each year about 1,200 artists from Iran and abroad perform over 10 days, delivering around 126 performances in categories like International and Folk Music, Classical Music, and Youth and Women’s Music.
